I purchased this bag after another travel-style bag of mine started coming apart. My other bag was from a discount retail shop and so I didn't expect too much. I've had this bag for about 4 months and use it every day. It hasn't shown any signs of wear or distress and doesn't even look dirty - I got a dark brown one. Anyway, my baggalini metro bag is amazing! Every little thing I carry with me has a place to live. The cell phone pouch easily fits my iPhone 4 with a case on it and the inside has tons of little pockets and spaces for everything I need. I even carry a roll-up reuseable grocery tote and it fits in a pouch inside. There's an elastic band near the main opening that nicely hold my chapstick. Plus, I hate velcro with a passion, but this bag is all magnetic snaps and zippers. I am going to Europe in a few weeks and I am going to be well-equipped to travel around town with this bag.

I am looking for a daily use travel purse. One that will hold my small camera, oversized prescription glasscase, and daily walking around necessities and a small notebook. I like to travel with nylon bags and not heavier leather purses which I use at home.

After reading the description and the reviews on this purse, I thought this might be exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately after I put in most of what I would need, there was no room for my prescription eyeglass case and I couldn't have crammed a piece of paper in if I had wanted to. I don't like wearing my camera around my neck all day and even though it did fit into the outside zippered pocket, it made a huge bulge and took away from the inside main compartment space, and I was afraid that I was straining the zipper.

I like Baggallini purses, but I don't think that I do well with compartmentalized purses - I prefer one big interior and maybe front and back zippered pockets, and that's what I'll be looking for now.

I like the looks of the bag as did my husband (who is kinda picky) and I was sorry that it didn't work out and I had to send it back.

I'm an organizational nut and looked for YEARS to get a good, durable, practical, pragmatic purse/hand bag. I finally saw Baggallini bags at a botique and have been hooked by them ever since.

Having owned several, I will say that this one - the Metro Bagg - is my favorite. Sunglasses, keys, phone, cosmetics, pens, change, insurance cards, etc. all have their place. I also like that there is a back side panel (with strong magnet) to place papers in. This is really handy when I have receipts, maps, hand outs, programs, etc. that I don't want to carry. I also like the adjustable shoulder strap, which allows me to carry this slung over my shoulder.

This is not your "bling bag"...but cute for us professional mommy or nerdy types. I have had so many women say, "Oh, I like your bag - I wish I could give up my big one for something like that..." and I say, "You can - and your shoulders will thank you!" :)

So, if you're worried about what your friends, neighbors, and sisters-in-law will think of your purse, this is not the one. If you like to step out of the house ultra-organized, this is THE bag.

Oh, and it's washable on cold delicate. Nice.
